Step into the beautiful country kitchen of our Villa Eddarella, situated right alongside the Umbria and Lazio border, among rolling hills peppered with centuries old farmhouses. Look out one window as you see the hills of Tuscany in the distance, while through another you gaze at the mountains of Umbria. Look out yet another window as you stare up at adorable Soriano nel Cimino, a striking hilltown topped by an awe-inspiring 11th century castle… the Pope’s summer residence of centuries past. This is the stunning location of our classes.. the place that has been in our family for hundreds of years.

From the moment you arrive, you are a visiting member of our family. As we cook together, you will learn the recipes that have been passed down through our family for hundreds of years. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get to it, because you will be fully involved in every stage of every dish… from fresh homemade gnocchi to making fresh mozzarella cheese from scratch. You will quickly learn that the secret to the best Italian food is as much about the food itself as it is about friends, family, and laughter.

Most week-long programs offer 4 classes, each of which is ½ day. Our dishes focus on local country recipes that you will be able to learn and make at home. We will make gnocchi from scratch with several varieties of sauces, homemade fettuccini from scratch, homemade Limoncello and Bicotti, and even a cheese making class, featuring Mozzarella recipes you will never forget!

When we are not in class, we are taking excursions that include many amazing hidden treasures of Central Italy, Tuscan wine country, Olive Mills, local farms, and much more.

Our guests stay in beautiful private village homes just beneath the castle, that have been fully restored and decorated to the hilt. They offer all modern conveniences, such as Satellite TV, WIFI Internet, Air Conditioning and much more.

Our packages are all-inclusive, meaning that from the moment you arrive at the airport or cruise terminal, until the moment you leave, we take care of just about everything, including meals, wine, transportation, wine, excursions, wine, lodging, wine, and of course… wine.
