Imagine a structure on a hill composed of a main house with suites, a series of dependances and a swimming pool situated on a panoramic terrace, all surrounded by olive trees and lawns. You will stay at one of our breathtaking suites in or around our farm-house ” VILLA ORIA” propriety. Each one is completely independent, and beautifully decorated. Each suites has double bedroom , private bathroom, breakfast room (coffee maker, water boiler, fridge), TV, washing machine. All windows are screened. All the suites have panoramic views of the olive groves, countryside, hill towns and mountains in the distance. Swimming pool with a beautiful view of the valley, pool towels are provided.

Our week cooking vacations are extremely unique, as they are designed not only to teach you to cook fantastic Italian meals, but to fully immerse you in Italian culture. You will savour the meals you prepare while you soak up the culture behind them. Whether you are a beginner, or a gourmet, you will not only have the time of your life, but you will leave with amazing new skills and appreciation for the delicate balance of ingredients that makes the best Italian food.

We take great care to make sure these are recipes you will be able to make at home, and are sure to impress.

Classes are small, completely hands-on, and make use of all-natural, seasonally-fresh ingredients. Essential Italian techniques you will master include: homemade pasta, ravioli, gnocchi, pizza, risotto, bruschette, crostini and other types of canapes, vegetable and grain soups, grilled, roasted, fried and stuffed vegetables, sweet biscuits and delicious home cookies. If you don’t participate to the lessons or when you have free-time, you will rest for a while perhaps choosing to sun yourself in a comfortable chaise by the pool. Or you might prefer to stroll the grounds of the estate, pausing to pick tomatos or vegetables , photograph the hillside panoramas, or even peek in on workers harvesting or pressing olives in the ancient mill of the farm.
