The School
Stefania’s Cooking Studio in Tuscany is located within the medieval castle that originally established Panzano in Chianti in the 13th century, and has unsurpassed views of the countryside and sunsets that give Conca d’Oro (the Golden Valley) its name.
Her cooking lessons are imbued with the joy and passion that Stefania brings to food, cooking and the rest of her life.
Stefania has a clear vision of the social and cultural power of cooking. “Preparing and sharing a meal brings people together,” she says convincingly. “It’s fun and creative, with lots of room for improvisation… and some good wine!” she laughs. Another belief is that food reveals much about the land from whence it comes, and vice versa. “Discovering and experiencing these connections is always a delight,” she notes.

Cooking classes are available 7 days a week and we offer a morning and an afternoon lesson.
Participants will join Stefania in seeking out the freshest local ingredients of the day in the market and green garden. They’ll be gently guided through the hands-on preparation of every course, from antipasto to dolce. And naturally, they’ll finish by enjoying the splendid meal they’ve prepared. Times are flexible, depending on the participants’ schedules & wishes, and when various local markets are open.
We keep classes small to ensure personal attention and cosy atmosphere. One-day classes are available, as well as two- and three-day tailored programs.
