The School
‘Under the Tuscan Moon’ is located outside the historical town of Radda-in-Chianti. The cooking classes take place in a beautifully restored rustic farmhouse, once a hayloft and stable, situated right in the heart of Chianti wine region between Florence and Siena. Our courses aim to stimulate your culinary creativity and teach you to prepare typical Tuscan dishes that are simple and delicious, using the best regional organic produce. If you love to cook and want to learn fantastic Italian recipes, you have come to the right place. If you are planning a trip to Italy and would like to stay in our accommodation and participate in a cooking course, we would be delighted to welcome you. Come relax, take a pause from life and smell the fresh country air, the tastes of the food and wine of Chianti at “Under the Tuscan Moon”.

Our classes are suitable for both beginners and experienced cooks. ‘Hands-on’ classes are conducted in a very friendly relaxed atmosphere and will give you a feeling of getting up to your elbows in flour when making fresh pasta. One of the favourite courses is the Aphrodisiac Cooking Course for that special occasion! The pungent smells from the kitchen will delight and capture your palate and senses. Learn to prepare typical Tuscan dishes and mouth-watering, seasonal specialties and discover local organic ingredients such as artichokes and earthy porcini mushrooms or truffles. You can even sample the olive oil and wine produced directly from our property. We will make your time with us a very memorable one and we hope you will leave us with the ability to treat your friends and family to many delicious recipes and experiences.
